Following numerous media reports on the sexual and physical abuse of learners at schools, child abductions, levels of drug and alcohol abuse, it is certainly imperative that we educate our children when it comes to Child and Teen Protection.

B) INTERACTIVE SBST CONSULTATIVE SESSION – DURATION: 1Hr

I will spend an hour with your School Based Support Team and discuss the following issues:

  • Check your reporting Protocols and Procedures when dealing with Abuse and Sexual Assault
  • Provide an insight into new Child Protection Legislation and ensure that your school is compliant
  • Discussion on Case Management
  • Discuss the introduction of a Staff Mental Wellness Program
  • Guide your team on the introduction of a Whole School Cyber Safety Campaign

C) STAFF DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP – DURATION 2 HOURS ( 5 SACE Points and a Certificate) 

  • Challenges facing educators in 2022
  • HIDDEN RAGE – A Staff Development workshop on The Prevention and Management of School Violence and includes teaching Anger Management Skills to Learners in both Primary and High Schools
  • Emotional First Aid for Teachers – Trauma, Learner Anxiety, Basic Counselling
